Sweet Petite is a superior, compact cultivar of a romantic cottage plant that charms with upright, spikes of tubular flowers in shades of red, pink, rose, blue and purple. This half-hardy perennial is best grown as an annual and has grey-green foliage and an impressive, uniform and compact habit. It grows to a dainty 15-20cm in width. Penstemon require a fertile, well-drained soil. Cutting them back after flowering will encourage fresh blooms.
